Originally, I had a polished biography written in the third person. Then I decided to get real and tell you who I really am.
I was personally independent at 14. Married at 16. Mother at 18. College graduate at 19. MBA and CPA at 21. Divorced a few months later. Entrepreneur at 22. Remarried at 24. Fully accepted Christ at 25. Broke at 27. Corporate Executive at 28. Unhealthy and exhausted at 29. Now at 30, much healthier, wealthier, and happier.
I have lived a lot in my first thirty years – achieving a fair amount of worldly success, but paying a high price for it. I lived life on my terms for a long time before I realized that I was missing some key pieces to the puzzle. I believe that my God-given gift is the ability to gather, process, and present information to others so that they can use it to achieve their dreams. I am an entrepreneur at heart, and I believe that all of us are leaders. I don’t ever want to stop learning, and I’m passionate about sharing what I have learned with others. I will never compromise my physical health or my mental freedom again, and I have a burning desire to explore the world with my family.
About My Other Projects
For three years now, I’ve homeschooled my daughter. I never intended to, but I absolutely love it. I’ve learned that many of our great leaders had unconventional childhoods, and I don’t believe that is a coincidence. We’re very close to launching a companion site with information and tools on imagining more for your kids. I love building businesses, and my CPA and corporate executive background has shown me the nitty-gritty insides of dozens of businesses. From furniture stores and restaurants to doctor’s offices and manufacturing companies, I’ve learned the characteristics of businesses that are successful over the long-term. Most recently, my projects have involved helping businesses through their growing pains by designing and implementing enterprise systems and clarifying their internal systems and processes.
